  1. How do I run Utkarsh OS CD?

    2. Utkarsh OS is a Live CD. It runs directly from the CD and does not require any installation on the hard disk. To run Utkarsh, please ensure that the CD drive is the first boot device for the computer. Then put the Utkarsh CD in your CD drive and reboot the computer. This should show the Utkarsh boot screen and after a while you will see the Utkarsh desktop.

    3. Utkarsh Os is a Live CD. It runs directly from the CD. User can install it on their machine and use it like any other OS. Utkarsh for Windows is a collection of 3 packages in Gujarati - Office Suit, Web Browser, Mail Client, with Gujarati keyboard.
    For Example, Utkarsh OS is like Windows Operating System. And Utkarsh for Windows is like MS Office.

    4. Utkarsh OS-Live CD runs directly from the CD and does not require any installation on the hard disk, where as Utkarsh OS Installer provide an option to install Utkarsh as a OS on the system.

    5. Check that your first boot device is CD-ROM. You can specify this in your BIOS. BIOS settings vary according to the computer hardware. You should be able to find a "Boot Sequence" or similar option and set the boot order there. Contact your Hardware vendor in case you face any problems.

    6. We have taken every effort to make it easy for you to use Utkarsh. When you use the Utkarsh CD from Windows, Utkarsh will automatically show you a screen and inform that this is not the correct way of using the CD. You need to reboot your computer with the CD still in the drive to use Utkarsh.
